If you don't have MLBTV as part of your cable or satellite system, you're missing out.
I'm currently watching Game 6 of the 1975 World Series - the classic between the Reds and the Red Sox. For a guy who was born in 1977 and grew up a Sox fan, I've of course heard and read all about the 75 season and the World Series. And of course if you tune into ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball, Joe Morgan will remind you every 10 minutes that he played in it as part of the "Big Red Machine."

Hello! I just wanted to take this time and introduce myself to anyone reading this...
I'm a 22-year old graduate of the University of Maryland-College Park (GO TERPS!) and while there I was the Assistant Sports Director at the campus radio station, WMUC. The time I spent at WMUC was amazing, as I was able to be a play-by-play announcer for numerous ACC Football, Basketball and Baseball games. Play-by-play announcing is what I've wanted to do for many years now, and the excellent journalism program at Maryland was the main reason why I attended the university. If you are at all interested, you can listen to my play-by-play demos at my "official" website: www.ScottSudikoff.com.

Well Folks, it’s that time again: Who’s Hot Wednesday is upon us. As promised, today’s special guests are Kurt Warner and Seth Petruzelli. So without further adieu, let’s get this thing started.

So I normally title my Monday blog: Monday Mourning due to being hungover from a full day of drinking and watching sports, hence the “mourning” because I have to get up, go to work, puke in the bathroom, and subsequently fall asleep in all of my meetings and get absolutely no work done. But today is different, mainly due to the fact that CBS’s and Fox’s regional coverage of NFL games in my area was HORRIBLE. Games that had a spread of +11 with no fantasy implications at all were being aired, so I went and watched polo (you know, the sport where guys on horses trot around and whack a ball with mallets). I had never been to a polo game before but we decided to go due to the possibility of attractive females (there are always beautiful women at horse events). We mingled with a few and made up some elaborate lies that we were just checking out the competition and had our horses stabled a few miles away. We were obviously out of place, with our cheers of “nice pass man!” and “shoooooot it!” but we wholeheartedly plan on attending it every Sunday for the rest of the season – pending what NFL games are on of course.

Amongst a busy week in the life of The Moneyball- I did have to comment on this topic.
Favre leaving the Packers to me is like Derek Jeter leaving the Yankees, Magic Johnson leaving the Lakers, or Cal Ripken Jr. leaving the Orioles.

As we continue to grow our community here at BostonRedSoxFanSite.com I've been scouring the net for other Red Sox blogs trying to network a bit. I recently ran across Boston Red Thoughts ( http://www.bostonredthoughts.com). If you get a chance, check it out. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves the Red Sox.

The country's favorite rivalry of all sports is entering Game 4 tonight, with the Red Sox having taken 2 of the 3 first games in Yankee Stadium. What used to be national news is a mere afterthought at the moment, and the question is why?
