Paul Schenkel's NCAA Basketball Fan Profile

Hi,

I am Paul Schenkel, recent graduate of USC Upstate in Spartanburg, SC, and sports writer for the Spartanburg Herald-Journal. Like the profile says, I plan on writing just "TheTruth"...of course, mixed in will be my own two cents on issues, mostly sports-related; but as I get the chance I'll throw in what music I'm listening to, my take on the political landscape, or anything else that comes to mind.

More than anything else, though, I am a sports junkie (so we'll stick with that more often than not) Whether it's football, baseball, golf, tennis, soccer, or especially basketball i've been watching it or playing it since I was old enough to walk! While I bleed Tar Heel Blue, I do keep an objective point of view about college basketball year-in and year-out and all issues related to sports. Being that I write for the newspaper about mostly high school sports, my topics for blogging will range from upstate South Carolina prep sports (anything goes), to college football and basketball, to professional sports.
