While the week of Thanksgiving may mean family dinners, visits with the in-laws, and early morning shopping, Duke fans will have something to look forward to as well: the semifinals and championship game for the 2K Sports Classic Benefitting Coaches vs. Cancer. While the teams may be playing for a good cause, that doesn't mean it's not a reason to give the other teams a taste of what to expect for this season.
The Devils kick off the tournament Mon., November 10 against Presbyterian. The game will be broadcast on ESPNU. The team is still going strong with returning stars Greg Paulus, Gerald Henderson, John Scheyer, Kyle Singler, and Lance Thomas, who all showed exceptional talent last season, but look out for freshman Elliot Williams. Williams is looking to make a splash on the court this season as he begins his career with the Blue Devils.
